Never met you
How can this be?
I have never met you in person,
Yet met your personality, your music
Such endearing words and courage.
Such strong meaning behind the lyric.
Such love to give and such love shared
For you.
Many fond memories will be safely stored
And since learning of your passing I have wondered
Is it true?
Such truth, yet I cannot seem to except it.
How can this be- I have never met you.
You have such a strong connection with me,
With the world, which will be a dull place.
Your existence shall always live on, but how can it be
That we now speak of your existence? That we chase
The memory of you as you have been taken away too soon.
One word;
Surreal is what this is. Surreal that you are
No longer here.
Yet I have never met you.
