I sit alone trying to focus
Yet all I see is blurred vision and darkness.
In one’s position this should not be my fuss,
Many envying the closeness
I share, yet the blurred vision acts as a wall.
Emotions are low, I concentrate on one.
It should be the focus I concentrate on but not at all
Does it even enter my mind, not even when it is so blatant.
As the day progresses I find that the wall
Is impossible to climb, I no longer am being patient.
I search in vane to find it,
The answer I so desperately crave to find.
Am told it is too awkward yet I know it is there as I try to fit
The rejection, yet there are signs that hide behind
The wall that the blurred vision has set.
Rejection is too hard too face,
I cannot except this, the vision more blocked since the darkness was met.
All that is thought are the signs that are in place,
Not the rejection, the rejection makes no sense.
Not when questions are followed by answers,
Followed by early hours and deprivation which hold out on the fence.
If you are to ignore then you do exactly that,
Not follow the lead as an act.
Yet the wall is still high only lowered by hope.
Hope that you see sense and see clear once more.
